THE DEFINITION OF THE RIGHTS:


  • According to the right is a reasonable claim to freedom in exercise of certain activities.

  • According to Benny, the rights are those social conditions which are necessary for war favourable to the development of personality.

  • According to the green, a right is a power, claimed and recognised as the contributory.


CLASSIFICATION OF RIGHTS:


  • Moral rights

  • Legal rights

  • Political rights

  • Civil rights

  • Economic rights

  • Human rights

  • Natural rights

  • Fundamental rights

  

EQUALITY

  • Adequate opportunities

The idea of Equality was formulated with an eye to removing such social injustice.

The idea of Equality has two sides.


  • In a tie scene, Equality means provision of adequate opportunities for all since, men differ in their needs and capacities and also in their efforts they need different opportunities for their individuals, self development. Thus, Equality of opportunity is achieved only when there is an appropriate opportunity for each, what is to be equalised is not the opportunity to enter professions or to be successful in business but the opportunity to lead a good life, or to fulfil one's personality.

  • In a -ve sense, Equality means the absence of undew privileges.  That is, there should be no artificials grounds of discrimination by like those of religions caste, colour, wealth, sex etc.

So, that no talent should suffer from prestations for want of encouragement.  It means one can move forward by his ability to any public office which he is prepared to choose, however, does not mean that there should be no discrimination on any material ground what soever.


The principles of equality should be linked with, The principles of efficiency and public benefits.


The idea of Equality implies that all human beings should be breasted Equality is respect of certain fundamental habit, common to all like human nature, human worth and dignity, human personality and the like.


THE KINDS OF EQUALITY


  • Natural Equality - (Bonefree)

  • Social Equality   - (No discrimination up &    

                              down)

                               Eg: Untouchable


  • Legal Equality    -  (based on age criteria)

  • Political Equality-  (Vote,election, public)

  • Economic Equality-  (poverty level)

  • International Equality-(The same rights in 

                                    Other countries also)
